Transformers is damn bloodly Great !!!

i don't really remember the cartoon version ... but it is still great ! good graphics , good stories , good effects ! too many good things to say le hahaah....

after movie went dinner with Candace & Wye Cheun @ Pasta Cafe the food standard drop , i remember previous visits food was great but now ... haizzzz

some tomato stuff with smoked salmon , very common nothing special ...

Fried Calamari

my pasta , sambal marinara taste only spicy , no taste at all ...

Candace Vongole with White wine sauce , taste bitter i think because the white wine not fully reduced...

Wye Cheun Pek-ing duck pasta , taste like maggi mee to me ...

later going Space @ My Humble House for dinner *wink*

ermmm nothing special to blog ...

everyday seems the same , wake up blur blur go work , reach hotel change, go egg station or help prepare dishes for lunch buffet ....breakfast finish then i go lunch , finish lunch slp at massage chair...go back kitchen set up buffet , help out kitchen mis-en-place . 3pm reach i go hme ! reach home slp , wake up , dinner , watch tv , tired slp ...

tml wake up repeat the same routine... omg ! anyone wanna date mi and make my life grow with spark? :( my life so boring .....

went to catch Spider Lilies 刺青 with wye chuen and chen kai after work .... wanted to watch the movie when its just started but had no time for it.

this show is about tattoo hahaha ... the story line is okie but most important is that Yang Chen Ling is god damm sexy !

after movie , chen kai went back to work , so mi and wye chuen made a trip to rosette to pay a visit to Nelson and Raymond ! CDP of Rosette hahaah ....

this week i will be doing morning shift 7 - 3 ... which means i am doing breakfast and standing at Omelette station....

wow omelette with stuffing ham , cheese , onion , pepper , mushroom....

remember during IS , i waste 1 whole tray of eggs just to learn omelette ...

but now ! hahah i am doing at the 5 star hotel haha .. i nvr let mr derrick lau down :P

Dumpling Festival 端午节

端午节

Duan Wu Jie is on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Lunar calendar (usually June in the calendar we use now). It is a day to remember the poet Qu Yuan, who was a loyal official in the court of the Chu Kingdom in old China.

Other officials told the emperor lies about Qu Yuan. The weak emperor believed the evil officials and asked Qu Yuan to leave his court. Over the next 20 years, the Chu kingdom got weaker.

Qu Yuan was very sad that his beloved country was controlled by another country, the Qin Kingdom. He decided to end his life by jumping into the river. Fishermen who heard that Qu Yuan drowned himself in the river set sail on boats to look for his body.

When they could not find it, they threw rice wrapped in bamboo leaves into the river so that the fish in the river would eat the rice instead of his body. The traditions of dragon boat races and eating rice dumplings on Duan Wu Jie thus began.

so being a " traditional " chinese family , we celebrate this festival every year... my mum will be the one wrapping the dumpling alone ( she learn from my grandma )... so this year i offer my help and i wanna learn the skill and tatic of wrapping a dumpling too , not to let this skill die down....

suppose to wake up early in the morning , but i can't seem to drag myself out of the bed so i wake up ard 12 pm to carry on the 2nd round of wrapping....

my mum trying to tell mi how to hold and wrap the dumpling ....this looks easy but actually it is not ! the holding and the method to keep it tight is not a joke ....

after 2 hours of wrapping , finally i finish up all the ingredients

total i wrapped 34 numbers of dumpling in 2 hours , accordding to my mum this quite fast for beginners like me *wink*wink*

boiling the water to " cook " the dumpling , and cooking dumpling using charcoal is a MUST ! the taste of the dumpling will be better compare to using a gas stove....

3 hours later !!!!

Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe

today went to meet ah hui , ah hoe and maria for dinner while i intro kenneth to them... mi and maria reach earlier and we chose to settle down at Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe @ Cineleisure .... we ordered dessert and some drink while waiting for the rest to come...

mi and maria ordered Mango with sago ... the dessert is damm freaking sweet ! it taste like mango sauce rather then mango dessert ..

while we chit chat all of them arrival and ordered food and eat while we talk ... we ordered then 2nd rounds of drink and requested for a glass of ice water from the " manager " ...

to our horror !

he told us tat warm water cost 20 cents and ice water cost 40 cents...

what the hell ! why must we pay for a glass of COLD WATER when i paid 10 % of service charge ? why don't they charge us from using their plates ?

is this the standard of Go Extra Miles Service ? it is not like we never order any food and just sitting in their resturant ....

is the " best service " we can provide in singapore?

i'm invited to attend the Solemnization ceremony of Vodka & Annie :) so excited my 1st friend getting married :)

got up early today and get ready to meet ah cao and yew wei , we are all suppose to wear black arrange by eric ... we reach the hotel early and we walk around finding vodka and looking through his photo album...

and finally we found Vodka :) acting as " lang zi " in this photo?
