Yeah ! Shatec got us vistor pass to the FHA 2006 haha this is our pass for the entry to the event

yeah STUDENT ... i though how nice the passs will look like nb STUDENT written right in the middle haha...

one of the important event coming up in the FHA is the culinary challenge ! Chefs from all over the world came over singapore to chellenge on this competiton ... here are some photos of the dishes they presented , part of it only there are way too much photo to take le haha

• got back my P.O.C overall result i get onli 72% - disappointing
• something sweet and loving happen - extremely happy :p
• i fail my TP again - extremely disappointing !!! ( but lucky you were there for me )

YAM BALLS !

had a long day today , and guess what ah lau is so angry with us today during demo ! i think all of us make noise in class , maybe the noise we make combine , tat will be out of control....

set tat matter aside , today IS we cpok braised lamb shank with red wine sauce , ratatouli and a starch of our own creation with option of sweet potato , potato and yam...
i chose yam , this is the 1st time i handle yam haha so i decided to mash them , mixed them with eggs and chopped bacon ... coat then with egg wash and bread crumb then deep fry them !

my trainer ah lau say that my lamb shank and ratatouli taste ok , but my yam ball a bit too dry, can try adding cream or milk when mixing them ...

quiet happy with my yam ball , it turn out what i planned and taste is still edible :p

當廚師真不簡單！

today had my 1st IS after 3 weeks of rest , having study week and exam week ...somehow i miss cooking :p

we will be preparing fruit platter & cold meat platter , wat we see in demo when ah lau was preapring the platter , it seem so easy and we didn't really pay attention to wat he is talking and teaching we just chit chat and play a fool >.< it is just fruits ! who don't know how to cut :p haha

we were wrong !
the fruits we cuting this morning is not tat easy as we thought ,when we are cutting the fruits, 他們 ( the fruits ) 一直亂亂動 ! 氣死了 !

the flow of the fruits , the presentation, the colour of the fruits 也是一門學問...next time when we go for international buffet , don't look down on the fruits platter 他們不是亂亂切,亂亂排的...

after the lesson , we did learn some 學問 in cutting fruits and presentation...but this make mi worry , even cutting of fruits we make a mess how am i going to cope for the following practise...

我切水果 , 切到流汗 >.<
we finish school early today , because demo was cancel ... i just woke up from a nap , think i had a nightmare i just woke up in a shock and now i acnnot go back to sleep that is why i am here blogging

Got my result for my practical exam yesterday , i score onli 64% passing is 60%

Weekend !

Its Sunday , i have the time to blog , exam offically end on friday which i am having my last paper which is catering science... The moment i turn over the paper tat day , i am LOST !

the paper know me , i don't the paper ! the qns in the paper looks so stranger to me! i don't know wat it is talking abt ... it is so damm hard ... wat i can onli do now is pray everyday to get a pass !
